The former Meringues coach confirms that the preference in
the Clasico for the Royal team and vindicates Mourinho.
Former Spain and Real Madrid coach Jose Antonio Camacho
believes that the Los Blancos are the
closest to a win in the upcoming Clasico against Barcelona on 23 of this month.
He said in an interview with Marca: "Real Madrid gave a
great season, especially in the last four months."
He added: "They have now an impressive array of
players, Ancelotti has succeeded in bringing the element of calm to the
team."
He continued: "I see them definitely have an advantage
in the Clasico match, I think the game will be more important and crucial for
Barcelona."
He explained: "If Barcelona equalized or lose in the game would be difficult for
them to catch up with Real Madrid at the top of the table, especially at this
critical stage of the season."
And to say that the reason of team shine is the departure of
the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho with many problems, he said: "For me,
Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world, has a distinctive personality
and a great ability to manage difference."
He added: "He was honest and made the best of his
service for Real Madrid."
He concluded: "It is unfair to say that the team was
well or bad under his administration, especially since Barcelona at the time
they were at the top of their level, not like now."
