Paul Lambert Biography

He is a Scottish former player and current manager of Aston Villa. Paul Lambert was born in August 7, 1969. Paul Lambert won a lot of honours when he was a player like the Scottish Cup with St. Mirren at the age of 17, the UEFA Champions League with Borussia Dortmund, 40 caps for Scotland, and all the Scottish domestic honours with Celtic.
From his best results as manager is his succeeding in leading Norwich City into Primer League with good promotions in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.

Playing career of Paul Lambert:

St. Mirren:
Paul won his first medal when he was playing in St. Mirren at the age of 17 in 1987. Lambert stayed in St. Mirren for eight years.

Motherwell:
Paul Lambert signed with Motherwell in September 1993, so the team finished 3th place in the Scottish League of 1993-1994 season. In the next year 1994-1995 they qualified for the UEFA Cup and finished their season runners-up.

Borussia Dortmund:
Paul Lambert signed with Borussia in 1996 after his good performance in the match which was between the two teams in the UEFA Cup. So he was promoted by the coach and the club together. In 1997 he played as midfielder in the match between Borussia and Juventus in the final of the UEFA Champions League final , Paul was his mission is to monitor Zinedine Zidane, and he succeeded in doing that , so Dortmund won by 3-1 , and Paul Lambert was man of the match . Paul became the first Scottish player who won the UEFA cup with non UK team. He scored just one goal during his playing with Dortmund against Werder Bremen.

Celtic:
Paul moved to Celtic in 1997, so he won there four Scottish Primer Leagues, two of them Scottish Cups, and two Scottish League Cups.

International career of Paul Lambert:
 
Paul was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in November 15, 2009 according to his performance for the Scottish national team.

Managerial career of Paul Lambert:

Livingston:
Paul studied football coaching in 2005, and then he started his first coaching career through Livingston in June 1, 2005. He was registered as player according to cover the injuries of the team in that time. But he was sacked by the team according to the poor results where he won just two games since starting his job.

Wycombe Wanderers:
Paul Lambert signed with Wycombe Wanderers in June 30, 2006. So he led the team for the semi-final of the League Cup. They lost in front of Chelsea in the way leg. But he resigned as coach of Wycombe on May 20, 2008.

Colchester United:
Paul signed with Colchester United in October 9, 2008. And then he left the team after his big win over Norwich City 7-1.

Norwich City:
He signed with Norwich after his big win over it when he was a coach of Colchester, so he led the team to reach the league 1 title and to promote them for the Championship in April 2010.
He stayed in Norwich until 2012 after Norwich’s survival in the Primer League 2011-2012, and then he resigned on May 31, 2012.

Aston Villa:
He signed with Aston Villa in June 2, 2012; he led the team to finish the season in the 15th place.


Del Bosque gives an opportunity for Substitutes in preparation for 2014 World Cup



Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque will give the opportunity for the set of substitutes to play against Chile in a friendly match on Tuesday to determine the extent of their ability to participate in the squad at the 2014 World Cup soccer.
Del Bosque said at a news conference that he will give the opportunity to the two goalkeepers Victor Valdes and Pepe Reina to participate against Chile after Iker Casillas fought the previous match, who ended in victory for his 2 - zero on the global Finland in the playoffs last Friday.
Del Bosque did not specify the names of other players scheduled their participation but certainly will be looking for players from sample Ignacio Monreal and Ignacio Fernandez and Javi Garcia and Roberto Soldado to participate and glamor.
Del Bosque said "We will make numerous changes. I will give the opportunity for some players to increase the number of their international matches so that we can follow."
He added, "We have a very large formation which can solve any problem. We have a group of players have already add sparkle to the young players have a desire to search for a place in the formation."
Spain team traveled to Switzerland off with a 21-man squad on Monday after excluding Isco and David Villa because of mild bruising.
And Chile coach Jorge Sampauli said that his team is the third-placed team in the South American qualifiers will try to possession of the ball in front of Spain as it did in the first half of the last meeting between the two countries.

Borussia Dortmund renewed confidence in the coach Jürgen Klopp



The CEO of Borussia Dortmund football team Hans-Joachim Watzke said absolute confidence again in team coach Jürgen Klopp.
He said that the club is not thinking at all to dispense with the services of Klopp in the future as coach explaining that he is still young to take over as coach of Germany.
Watzke said to the sports German magazine "Kicker" on Monday, "The Klopp has achieved many achievements of Dortmund during the period that he took the technical management of the team, where he led the team to get the league title of the German Bundesliga in 2011, also achieved a bilateral by crowning league and cup in 2012, as he won the German super this year.”
Watzke said, "I will never sack Klopp," he said, adding that Klopp also will not terminate his contract with the team, which expires in 2016.
Borussia Dortmund CEO explained "Klopp does not sign contracts and then terminates its then. Has not done at all. Contract with the team expires in 2016 and will meet him."
Watzke pointed out that the time for negotiations for the renewal of the contract was not yet ripe, "but we always strive to continue with Klopp."
Klopp is 46 years old and considered natural candidate to take over as coach of Germany, although Watzke did not expect that in the event of leaving the current coach Joachim Loew if he fails in the World Cup finals in Brazil next year.
Watzke confirmed "as coach is not an issue for Klopp, who is still in his mid-forties. Think he needs to be this daily challenge in tournaments Champions League and the Bundesliga."
Borussia Dortmund leads the Bundesliga this season after four weeks of its launch on 12 points, with a full mark. But Watzke believes that traditional rival Bayern Munich could still compete strongly for the title this season under the leading of the Spanish coach Pep Guardiola.
Watzke said, "Like it or not, I still think that Bayern Munich is one of the most prominent of the favorites to win the tournament. Bayern is still the best team in the world right now and one of the clubs that have successfully managed at the level of the world."
