Louis van Gaal restored his reputation after leading the
Netherlands to reach the World Cup football after more than ten years of
failing to achieve that, despite the existence of a great variety of players.
Van Gaal the 62-year-old led his country to qualify for the
World Cup on Tuesday after the team top of their group by winning 2 - zero over
Andorra to achieve their seventh win in eight qualifiers.
This success will bring Van Gaal to first grade after years
the coach spent trying to restore his reputation after failing to qualify for
the 2002 World Cup.
It was expected to succeed Van Gaal to lead the Netherlands
to reach the finals held in South Korea and Japan in light of the team's
possession of a heavily astral at that time. The Netherlands reached the
semi-final of the European Championship in the year 2000 and it includes an
impressive formation of first-grade players such as Edgar Davids and Patrick
Kluivert, Clarence Seedorf and Ruud van Nistelrooy's giant goalkeeper Edwin van
der SAR, Although the Netherlands at the time was ranked third in the playoffs
behind Portugal and the Republic of Ireland to fail to appear in the finals.
And then van Gaal resigned - who built his reputation on his
success with Ajax Amsterdam and Barcelona - from his post as coach of the
Netherlands after serving less than two years with the team.
Van Gaal succeeded
after this failure with AZ Alkmaar and led to the Dutch league title in 2009,
breaking the dominance of big triple in his Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven
for the title over the past 27 years.
Van Gaal went afterwards to lead Bayern Munich to win the
Bundesliga before returning unexpectedly to train the Netherlands last year,
after the team lost in three games the 2012 European Championship.
Van Gaal refused to delve into the past and said in answer
to a question about the difference between the situations now and in 2002,
"I do not find anything tainted my career as a coach." He added to
The S station. B. S 6 TV "I work with a completely different lineup. Build
a young team contain some of the older players."
"We must return to the team that I received. Build a
new team is always difficult, especially after the frustrating journey like
that happened at the European Championships but we have something wonderful to
become the first European team to qualify and margin targets more than 20
goals."
Van Gaal continued recently, saying, "We want to succeed
in Brazil. The experience comes in a lifetime only once. In the tournament such
as the World Cup national team training is an extraordinary task."
