Vicente Del Bosque González was born Salamanca, December 23, 1950. He is a
former football player and current head coach of the Spanish national team.
Vicente Del Bosque achieved his biggest hits in his playing career with
Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, and as manager: Del Bosque achieved
with Spain the World Cup, the European Championship, two league titles and two
Champions Leagues. He has also worked as a football commentator on television,
usually in Telecinco Cup games or the Super Spain. In February 3, 2011, he was
awarded by King Juan Carlos I of Spain the title of first Marquis of Del Bosque. On
April 1, 2011 he got the honorary doctorate by the University of Castilla -La
Mancha recognizing both their personal worth as career and sporting achievements.
It is the only coach who won the
World Cup (2010 ) , the Euro (2012 ) and Champions League UEFA club ( 99-00 and
01-02 ) , with the football team of Spain and Real
Madrid , the second coach to get the double World Championship football after
Germany coach Helmut Schön ( winning it
in the 1972 European Championship and 1974 World Cup ) . On
January 7, 2013 was awarded the Golden Ball FIFA best coach 2012 male.

Managerial career
Real Madrid:
When Del Bosque retired from playing, he became the coach of the youth
teams in the ranks of Real Madrid. Then Del
Bosque became the coach of Real Madrid B in August 29, 1987. And in March 8,
1994 he appointed by Real Madrid to become the head coach of the first team of
Real Madrid. He stayed with Real Madrid until 2003. With Real he achieved the
title of La Liga twice 2000-2001, 2002-2003, UEFA Champions league 1999-2000,
2001-2002, UEFA Super Cup 2002, International Cup 2002, and Supercopa de Espana
2001.
Besiktas and:
Del Bosque signed with the Turkish team Besiktas in the season 2004-2005
but he did not achieve good results
Spain:
On March 11, 2008 Del Bosque was assigned the head coach of the Spanish
national team and he could to lead them to win the World Cup 2010, and UEFA
European Championship 2008-and 2012.
