Javier Aguirre Biography

His full name is Javier Aguirre Onaindia, was born in December, 1958 in Mexico City. Aguirre is well known as El Vasco , he is former football player and current football coach of Espanyol.

Javier Aguirre was member of the Mexico national team but he resigned after the 2010 World Cup.

Playing Career of Javier Aguirre:

Javier Aguirre played for many Mexican teams, such as Club America where he won with them several championships, like the final against CD Guadalajara, when Aguirre scored a goal.

He appeared in 59 games with the Mexican national team between the periods of 1983 until 1992, where he scored as total of 13 goals. And he attended the World Cup in 1986, where they reached to the quarter- final but they lost in front of West Germany.

Managerial career of Javier Aguirre:

Early Years:

After his retiring he took the advantage of managing Atlante, and then Club Pachuca, where he led them to win the Invierno championship in 1999.

Mexico:

Javier Aguirre was the successor of Enrique Meza in managing Mexico national team according to the later poor results, and he could to lead them to reach the final of the 2001 Copa America, but they lost in front of Colombia 1-0.

Then in 2002, he led them to reach to the World Cup but the lost in the round 2 against United States 2-0.

Osasuna:

Aguirre signed with Osasuna in La Liga, where he led them to qualify for the champion’s league after finishing the league in the fourth place in 2005-2006 season of La Lage, he stayed with them from 2002 until 2006.

Atletico Madrid:

Aguirre signed with Atletico Madrid in 2006-2007, and his mission was to bring them back to the European competition and his first season, he put them in the EUFA Cup.  And the second season was more successful one for Aguirre where they earned a ticket for the Champions League.

Return to Mexico:

Aguirre signed again with the Mexican national team after the poor results of the team under the leading of Sven-Goran Eriksson.  But he resigned in 2010 after his failure in leading the team from reaching to the quarter-finals of the world cup in 2010.

Real Zaragoza:

Aguirre signed with Real Zaragoza in November 17, 2010, and then he was sacked on December 29, 2011 after the poor resulting and putting the team in the relegation zone.

Espanyol:

He signed with Espanyol in November 28, 2012 where the team was in the relegation zone, so for that Aguirre was hired. So he could to save the team from relegation and it stayed in La Liga for the 2013 season.

Mourinho: Chelsea is not the first candidate to win the Premier League

Jose Mourinho coach Chelsea Sees that his team is not the first candidate to win the Premier League this season.

The third-placed Chelsea delayed the English Premier League table behind leader Arsenal by five points, after (15) round of the competition.

The Portuguese coach Mourinho said in a statement quoted by the English newspaper "Mirror": It is said that we are the first candidate to reap the English Premier League title ..? We are one of six teams competing to win the title. "  

Mourinho added, saying that "despite the fact that other teams offering the highest levels, but the games we offer a high performance in terms of maturity and balance in the formations and positions, I think we offer a performance different from what it was in the past.

And Chelsea coach went on in his statement: let’s  remember last season Chelsea finished the season behind winner margin (14 points), and in the season before last, the difference was 25 points, no one talked to me as if the team is the hero or finish the season behind one or two points.

and Jose Mourinho completed his speech: my team during the last two seasons or three were in December will be too late for the leader lead (15-20) points behind the leaders, and I say we build a team and style of play with the players who we have, and of course we want to achieve the best results.

Mazzarri: Inter's players feel of big pressures

Inter Coach Walter Mazzarri refers series of negative results for the team and most recently a draw at home to Parma 3-3 to nervous feeling system by pressing the big players.

Mourinho quarry scores double of all Blues strikers in the Premier League

The recent period has witnessed a war of words between Mourinho and Lukaku , where " Mourinho " said that Lukaku is a young man likes to speak a lot but did not reveal the real reason for his departure from the Blues, the Belgian striker responded by saying that his desire to participate was the main reason behind the decision to leave.
