Roberto Mancini Biography


Roberto Mancini was born in the Lesi province of Ancona, November 27, 1964; he is Italian former footballer and current football coach of Turkish Galatasaray club.


Playing Career of Roberto Mancini:

Mancini Began his career with FC Bologna in the season 1981-1982, he has been playing with them 30 appearances and scored 9 goals, and in 1982 Mancini moved to Sampdoria, and played with them until 1997, and participated with them in 424 matches and scored 132 goals, and in 1997 he moved to the Lazio Club, and played with them until 2000, and participated with them in 85 matches and scored 15 goals, then Mancini in 2001 moved to Leicester City English club, playing with them 4 games and then he retired from football.
 He has played with Italy football between 1984 and 1994, 36 appearances and scored 4 goals.

Managerial career of Mancini:

Before he retired from football, Mancini was an assistant coach at Lazio club in the 2000-2001 seasons, and in the 2001-2002 seasons he coached the Italian club Fiorentina, and in 2002 coached Lazio club until 2004, where he moved to Inter Milan training. And Roberto Mancini managed to win two titles Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup titles and Serie A championship twice with Inter. Mancini was also able to win the Cup of Italy with Fiorentina, Lazio and is considered one of the best coaches in the history of Inter. Ended his career at Inter's training on May 29, 2008 after his sacking by president Massimo Moratti who was appointed coach Jose Mourinho in his stead.
In late 2009, Roberto Mancini moved to England to succeed Welsh coach Mark Hughes at Manchester City team training after being nominated by Emirati team owners and managed to win the Premier League championship with him after more than 45 years and continues even the coach of the England team until May 11, 2013 when he sacked after team lost to Wigan Athletic 1-0 in the 2013 Cup Final.
With Manchester City : Mancini FA Cup achieved season 2011 - 2010 , then he achieved the English Premier League season 2012-2011 , Mancini was chosen as the best coach in the season 2007-2008  by his colleagues, and thus won the annual " Golden Seat " prize.
After that he signed with the Turkish Club Galatasaray a contract for three- years on September 30, 2013, where he started his coaching career with a big draw in the Champions League in font of Juventus 2-2. 

Personal Life of Mancini:


He is Catholic and has two sons, he has been married his wife Federica for nearly 28 years, his children both played in the youth team of Internazionale. He was estimated in 2011 to have a personal wealth of £19 m.
