Villa Boas: Mourinho stood in the way of my ambitions and our strong friendship no longer exists

Chelsea which is coached by Jose Mourinho will meet his neighbor Tottenham Hotspur the team of compatriot Andre Vilas Boas in the English Premier League football on Saturday.
Saturday's game will be the first confrontation between the Portuguese coaches since leaving Villa Boas technical staff for Mourinho at Inter Milan to take over the training Portugal Academica four years ago.
Villa Boas worked as assistant to Mourinho at Porto and Chelsea before Inter Milan.
Villa Boas said "My relationship with him on both artistic and personal were excellent  ... because we worked together for many years."
Villa Boas added, saying that he wants to continue to work with Mourinho for the development of skills training and information, but "There was a separation between us  ... because he (Mourinho) did not feel the need to having someone else close to him."
Villa Boas denied having grudges between him and Mourinho and said they were talking to each other, but the strong friendship between them no longer exists.
On the other hand, Andre Vilas Boas the coach of Tottenham Hotspur Said that the decision to rival Chelsea in the English Premier League football to refuse his request to join Juan Mata during the recent transfer period shows that the two clubs have become real competitor.
At the present time Mata is no longer an essential at Chelsea since the return of Coach Jose Mourinho and international Spaniard realizes very well that he should change the way of his playing if he wanted to return to the lineup.
Vilas Boas said, whose team will host Chelsea on Saturday that Tottenham inquired about the possibility of contracting with the playmaker Mata but the rival rejected.
He told reporters in the pitch of the special training in Tottenham “the Secretariat requires saying that we did not continue endeavors. While it is available bring players a first-class with the change of position for them in their clubs, especially with a player like Juan Mata then you must take the initiative by asking about the situation... but it did not exceed that. "
Boas continued "This is normal, last year we were competing on the same goals  ... initially competing for the title and then on to qualify for the Champions League, so I suppose that after that no one wants to strengthen the power of his rival. I believe that this is a reference to the evolution in Tottenham, too."
And Chelsea also seeks to subvert the neighbor's plans to buy Brazilian international midfielder Lillian and already managed to sign him, despite undergoing a medical examination at Tottenham.
The Portuguese coach said, "I do not know at all what caused them to move to annex Lillian, but I am confident that he is a good support already."

Boas added "In the end, all agree in this context they are strong indeed, but they decided to do it (and Lillian) young talent has many capabilities."
