West Brom manager welcomed the President of the Federation of referee’s apology from the penalty given to Chelsea

West Bromwich Albion Premier League coach Steve Clarke welcomed the apology of chairman the Referees Committee for the penalty given against his team, which led to the loss of the team win against Chelsea in the match that took place in the Premier League this month.

The director of the referees of the competitions for professional football Mike Riley that the decision of the referee Andre Mariner by calculating a penalty in favor of Chelsea in stoppage time of the match is questionable.
Clark said in talking about the penalty incident given against West Brom player Steven Reid after the opinion of the referee that he pushed Ramirez Chelsea player "We received a phone call from Mike Riley to apologize."

Clark added, "It is clear that he felt that it was a wrong decision. Apology will not make us get more points, but it's good to call us Mike. We should let this incident now and look forward to our next games."
West Bromwich also received a call from the international referee Howard Webb earlier this month, which pointed out that he should have given a penalty for the benefit of the team in a meeting that Stoke City equalized with Chelsea negatively in the Premier League.

Clark and his colleagues in the coaching staff feel of injustice, which prompted him to address the Committee to highlight the four kicks penalties against the team in 11 appearances for Premier League team this season.
Clark said "the purpose of the letter is an attempt to generate debate."

As he explained, "It's not necessarily provoke discussion between us and the ruling authorities for English football, but discussion among everyone to see if there is a way of which you can improve your game.

Clark also asked "if there was a possibility to use modern technology to help referees make the tough decisions is what they need to do, let's look at it and see what we can come up with it."
