Stuttgart club officially announced the signing of Chelsea
midfielder Oriol Romeo on loan for one season.
Romeo had renewed his contract with Chelsea a few weeks ago
for a period of 3 years new, and observers expect this to be a signal to
continue with the Blues after spending last season on loan at Valencia.
Metro newspaper said that Mourinho told Romeo of the need to
continue his development in another place before that can play a key role in
Chelsea.
VfB Stuttgart welcomed the deal, describing the former
Barcelona player as promising player who
will help the team in the next season.
Oriol at the age of 22 years, and moved to Chelsea in the
summer of 2011, versus 5 million euros, and it was Barcelona has a clause
allowing it to buy back the player, but did not use it.
