His full name is Benjamin Robert Ben Olsen, was born in May 3, 1977. Olsen is an American former football player and current coach of D. C. United. Olsen started playing at elite club to move to University of Virginia and become in 1997 top soccer American player of the year.

Ben Olsen capped 37 with United States men’s national team, and also won in 2005 CONCAF Gold Cup and him participating in 2006 world cup. Finally the retirement of Olsen from playing career was announced on November 24, 2009.

Coaching career:


After retiring from playing the administration of United announced that Olsen will continue as a coach assistant under the leading of head coach Curt Onalfo on January 5, 2010. His full name is Wilmer Carbrera Linares, was born in September 15, 1967. He is Columbian former football player, where he played as defender, and current football head coach of Chivas USA in U.S. Major League Soccer.

Formerly, Carbrera worked as assistant coach of the Colorado Rapids and the United States under 17 national team.

Career:

Carbrera played in many teams in Argentina like America de Cali, Millonarios, Chico, Independiente, and also in the USA in Herediano of Costa Rica and Long Island Rough Rides.

International career:

Carbrera scored 3 international goals for Columbia and was capped 48 times between 1989 and 1998. He appeared three times at the 1998 World Cup and in the 1990 World Cup he was unused substitute. Also Wilmer Carbrera played in four Copa America competitions in 1989, 1997, 1995, and 1997.

Coaching career:

Carbrera worked as a community development manager working on Hispanic grassroots and youth programs in Major League Soccer after his retiring from played football.
Then he signed to be assistant coach for Suffolk County Community College men’s soccer team. He was ranked at the top of youth soccer club B.W. Gottchee, based in Queens, New York.


Wilmer Carbrera has got his USSF A coaching license in 2005, to become then a member of the U.S. Under 18 Men’s national team staff in January 2007, where he served as assistant coach.
On October 25, 2007 the United States soccer Federations named him as the head coach of the U.S. Under 17 Men’s National team.
But in January 24, 2012 he resigned to be replaced by Riche Williams. After few days he signed to be the assistant coach for Colorado Rapids of MLS.
And finally after one year in January 9, 2014 he was named as the head coach of Chivas USA.
