Manchester United Declared today achieving a net profit of
23.8 million pounds during the last year, until June, representing a decline of
84% on an annual basis.
And the club spent, which did not qualify this season for
any European competition, nearly 150 million pounds this summer in a contract
with the new deals.
In spite of the decline in net profit, however, that the
total profits of the Reds increased by 19 percent to
433 million pounds, thanks
to sponsorship contract signed with one of the sportswear companies for a
period of 10 years is worth of 937 million euros.
And Man United administration trust in that the team will
improve on the level of sporting level this season under new coach, Louis van
Gaal.
Executive Vice President of the Club Premier, Ed Woodward
said in a statement, "We look forward to the future and we are waiting to
write a new chapter in the history of the club under the leadership of Van Gaal
and new deals with the best players in the world to strengthen the team."
The "Red Devils" contracted this season with
Argentine Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid for 59.7 million pounds, a record in
English football.
Man Utd also included Spanish Ander Herrera from Athletic
Bilbao Spain of versus 28.8 pounds and Argentine Marcos Rojo from Sporting
Lisbon for 16 million pounds and the Dutch Daily Blind from fellow Ajax versus
13.8 million pounds.
the English club also contracted with Colombian Radamel Falcao
on loan from Monaco for one season with an option allows to buy him..
